Dr. Roberts graduated in 1978 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.  He was Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1981 and was Board Certified in Emergency Medicine in 1987 and by the Board of Forensic Examiners in 1997.  He currently serves as Vice Chief of Staff at Seton Medical Center and serves on the Seton Medical Center’s Medical Executive Committee.  He is also Chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for Seton Family of Hospitals, Board Member of the Seton Health Affiliates, Member of the Medicine/Ambulatory Performance Improvement Council, Member of Seton Family of Hospitals Emergency Medicine Joint Practice Council and a member of Medical Management Steering Committee, and a member of the Seton Medical Ethics Committee, the SETON Brain and Spine Committee, The Stroke Team, Acute Coronary Syndrome and MI Team for Seton Medical Center, Surviving Sepsis Goal Directed Therapy Team for Seton Medical Center.  He has served as the Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Seton Medical Center since 1987, and has been a Physician Reviewer for The Texas Medical Board.
