Robert Patton, MD, FACEP, FAAFP
Dr. Patton graduated in 1973 from the University of Arkansas Medical School and earned an MBA from the University of South Florida in 1995. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He was the Chief of Staff at Lafayette Memorial Hospital in Lewisville, Arkansas for eight years and had a private practice in Family Medicine. Since 1990, Dr. Patton has primarily practiced in Emergency Departments, both as a staff physician and Medical Director. As Medical Director of St. Joseph Regional Health Center for seven years, Dr. Patton oversaw the initiation of an Express Care Unit, the renovation of the existing Emergency Department, and the implementation of a Level III Trauma Department. Dr Patton has a strong background in Process Improvement in Emergency Departments and Customer Service. He also directed two emergency medical service providers during his tenure as Medical Director of the Emergency Service Department.
