Express Care

• Annual Visits: 25% to 30% of ED visits

• Hours of coverage: 2p-2a (Wed, Thur, Sat, Sun)
• Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (previous EM experience preferred)

The ED has a total of 17 beds, with 4 dedicated to fast track. There are four shifts per day (6-5p; 11a-9p; 4p-2a; 8p-6a), although some days mid-level providers work a 2p-2a shift (instead of the 4p-2a physician shift). The compensation package for a full time physician includes RVU-based pay, night shift bonus, paid malpractice and tail insurance, 2-year partnership track, and equitable scheduling (day, night and weekend shifts are distributed equally).
