G. Eric Schroeder, MD
Dr. Schroeder received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1999. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY in 2002. Dr. Schroeder is currently the Medical Director at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and Palestine Regional Medical Center. Dr. Schroeder has extensive experience in transitioning ESP's new hospital contracts by serving as the Interim Medical Director until a permanent director is identified. During his time at Palestine Regional Medical Center, Dr. Schroeder worked with the hospital to successfully obtain a Level III Trauma Center certification. He has served as Chair of Peer Review for Palestine Regional Medical Center as well as Chair of Peer Review for the Rural Health Initiative. Dr. Schroeder serves on Medical Executive Committee, Credentials, PI/QA Committees, as well as an ad hoc representative for other disciplines as they meet regarding ED issues at his full time ED as well as his interim hospitals.
