Dennis Watts, MD, MS, BCEM, FAAFP
Dr. Watts received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock, AR. He completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Utah. Dr. Watts is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Family Practice. He received an M.S. in pharmacology at the University of Arkansas in 1977. He had a private practice in Family Medicine for 3 years while also working full-time as an emergency physician. He was an Assistance Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio on both a full-time and part-time basis for 5 years. Dr. Watts has worked in emergency medicine primarily and has worked as both a staff physician and medical director. He has been elected and served as Emergency Section Chief at Seton NW and served as Chief of Staff at Seton Southwest from 2005-2007. He is the Medical Director of the Emergency Department for Seton Southwest and serves on the Board of Directors for ESP.
