Cheryl Conner, RN and CEO
Cheryl has over 25 years of health care experience. Her career has spanned management as an ED Department Director, Hospital Administration, University Administration, Human Resources and Quality Management and consulting. Cheryl, a graduate from the University of Texas, worked with UT’s business school to create a joint MBA program with the School of Nursing. Cheryl has the innate ability to apply innovative practices to real business problems resulting in best in class, higher productivity and more effective leadership. Her leadership talents include aligning the most competent leader for strong cultural fit, as well as running an organization with business savvy and emotional intelligence. Cheryl’s successes include creating software that measured individual physician quality performance which sold to over 200 hospitals nationwide, designing one of the nation’s first case management programs and creating cross functional, multi-leveled quality improvement program. Because of her innovative mindset and proven track record, Cheryl has served on several industry national task forces and is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Emergency Department Practice Management Association. Cheryl has spent 13 years at Emergency Service Partners, L.P., including ten years as CEO.
