Bruce Moskow, MD, JD, FACEP, FAAEM
Bruce Moskow, MD, JD, FACEP, FAAEM - Dr. Moskow received his medical degree in 1979 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and a law degree in 1983 from University of Texas School of Law. He is Board Certified and Re-Certified in Emergency Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is a founding member and Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He was the Medical Director of the Seton Northwest Hospital Emergency Department from its opening in 1991 to 2003. He performs quality reviews for the Texas Medial Board. He is a Past Chief of Seton Northwest Hospital's Medical Staff, Past President of the Seton Family of Hospitals Medical Staff, and is currently on the Seton Networks Finance Committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Emergency Department Practice Management Association. He serves as an elected Councilor from the Texas College of Emergency Medicine to the American College of Emergency Medicine, and represents TxACEP on the Texas Alliance for Patient Access Board, a statewide tort reform organization. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Emergency Medicine Risk Retention Group. In 2007, the Governor or Texas appointed him to a statewide committee to look into the problems associated with balanced billing of patients who have been treated in the hospital.
